“V” is an American science fiction television series that presents the story of an extraterrestrial race that arrives on Earth in peace, but actually has sinister motives. The serial is a remake of the 1983 miniseries created by Kenneth Johnson. Many talented actors play in this series, which include: Morena Baccarin, Lourdes Benedicto, Morris Chestnut, Scott Wolf, Joel Gretsch, Charles Mesure, Elizabeth Mitchell et Logan Huffman.
The show present the extraterrestrial “Visitors” which are lead by beautiful and charismatic Anna who is played by Morena Baccarin, she declares that they come in peace and claim to only need a small amount of Earth’s resources, in exchange for which they will share their advanced technological and medical knowledge. In the other side the agent Erica Evans which is played by Elizabeth Mitchell, discovers that the aliens are actually reptilian humanoids wearing pseudo-human skin, have spent decades infiltrating human governments, businesses, and religious institutions, and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the Earth.
V has only two seasons, but is a big succes in many countries throughout the world, being watched by viewers around the world. The show also won a few awards including: Oustanding Created Environment in a Broadcast Program or Commercial and was nominated for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards for the pilot episode, was also nominated for Favorite New TV Drama at the 36th People’s Choice Awards and for Best Television Presentation. Morena Baccarin was nominated for Best Supporting Actress on Television at the 36th Saturn Awards, the show received three nominations, for Best Network Series, Elizabeth Mitchell for Best Actress in Television, and Morena Baccarin for Best Supporting Actress in Television at the 37th Saturn Awards.

In May 2011 the show was cancelled, although fans have made numerous letters to be resumed but remained only two seasons in the end.
