Watch Flash Forward Online

“Flash Forward” begins with a mysterious event which causes nearly everyone on Earth to simultaneously lose consciousness for two minutes and seventeen seconds (137 seconds) on the 6th of October 2009. During this “blackout”, people see what appear to be visions of their lives nearly six months ahead, on April 29, 2010 in what seems to be a global “flashforward”.

The action of the series then follows a team of Los Angeles FBI agents, led by Stanford Wedeck and spearheaded by Mark Benford and his partner Demetri Noh. The team begins the process of determining what happened, what had set off the flashforward. Moreover, they are curious to finding why it happened and what are the chances of it happening again.

Benford brings precious information to the case, because in his own version of the flashforward he saw the results of six months of investigation that he had done on the flashforward event. He and his team will use the clues of his “vision” to recreate the investigation.

The show is constructed around this central plot, but the team also investigates a number of scattered events related to the flash, such as the “Suspect Zero” case, a man who did not lose consciousness during the event because of a quantum entanglement device, or the peculiar case of a similar mass loss of consciousness in Somalia years earlier in 1991.  Meanwhile, the characters have to deal with their own personal revelations of the “flashforward”.

Mark Benford sees himself relapsing into alcoholism and his wife sees herself with another man; Demetri Noh sees nothing, which could mean that he will not be alive to see the day everyone else has glimpsed. Or, perhaps, the flashforward isn’t even a vision of the future but something else.
